The science

Directions and results of scientific (research) activities:

OGMA actively conducts scientific research in various fields of medicine. Scientific research includes studying the causes and mechanisms of disease development, developing new diagnostic and treatment methods, studying the effectiveness of pharmacological drugs, clinical trials and other important topics. The results of these studies have important implications for the scientific and medical community. They can be published in scientific journals, presented at conferences and applied in practical medicine to improve diagnosis, treatment and patient care.

Competition for filling positions of scientific workers:

OGMA regularly holds competitions to fill vacant positions of scientific workers. This allows us to attract highly qualified specialists with active scientific activities to the university. The competitive procedure includes the assessment of candidates for suitability for the position, their scientific potential and experience, as well as the presentation of research projects and publications. Filling vacant positions of scientific workers helps to strengthen the scientific potential of OGMA and ensure a high level of scientific research.

Medical library:

As part of OGMA there is a medical library that provides students, teachers and researchers with access to a wide range of scientific publications, medical journals, textbooks and other information resources. The library provides the necessary literature and information for the preparation of lectures, seminars, scientific research, as well as for independent study and training in the field of medicine. The medical library of OGMA is an important tool for updating knowledge and developing scientific research at the university.

Dissertation Council:

The OGMA has a dissertation council responsible for organizing and conducting the defense of dissertations of researchers and graduate students. The dissertation council consists of experienced scientific researchers who examine and review dissertations. Defense of dissertations is an important stage of scientific and professional development for candidates and doctors of science. It allows scientists to present their research results, obtain scientific degrees and further develop their scientific careers.

Grants and scientific competitions:

OGMA actively participates in grant programs and scientific competitions at the federal and regional levels. The university supports and encourages scientific research, offering financial support and resources for the implementation of scientific projects. Grants and scientific competitions allow OGMA researchers and graduate students to receive additional funding and the opportunity to conduct high-quality scientific research, which contributes to the development of medical science and innovation.

Results of intellectual activity:

OGMA encourages its teachers and researchers in intellectual activities, such as publishing scientific articles, participating in scientific conferences, speaking at plenary sessions, and obtaining patents and copyright certificates. The results of intellectual activity include new research, developments, techniques and innovative approaches that contribute to the development of medicine and education.

International activity:

OGMA actively cooperates with international partners, participates in international scientific projects and the academic mobility program. The university establishes academic connections with leading foreign universities, exchanges students and teachers, organizes joint research and conferences. The international activities of OGMA promote the exchange of experience, the development of international scientific relations and the attraction of advanced methods and practices in medicine and pedagogy.

These aspects of the scientific activities of the Omsk State Medical Academy (OGMA) confirm its active role in the development of medical science, education and practice, as well as the desire for continuous improvement and innovation in the medical field.
